So I'm back in Cali, and ready to rock.
While I was asleep on the plane, I had a funny dream. I was on a bus, and my mom was driving it. She started off driving normally, then she started driving pretty agressivly, going through yellow lights just as they turned red (as real bus drivers often do). Then she was flat out running red lights, and picking up speed. She was just driving in a straight line and the bus got going pretty fast, still running lights. I tried to say something to her, but I realized that we were going so fast that I couldn't draw enough breath to speak (from the G forces or something, I don't know). Before too long, I realized that we were headed towards a wall, and there was no way the bus would be able to turn or stop in time, and my mom wasn't doing anything about it anyway. Right before we hit, I thought to myself, "This is a dream, and you're going to wake up," and I did. Heavy handed symbolism like that in a dream just begs to be interpreted, but I have no idea what my subconscious is trying to tell me. It's not like my mom is pushing me too hard in real life. Good thing I don't believe in that shit, I guess.
If you're in the Golden State and you want to kick it, give me a call. I'll be here til January 2.

I'm leaving for Chicago in half an hour. Much love to the folks who made this summer what it was--the crew, Katie Pyle, Julia Gibson, Anson, everyone at the Station House, Julia Rogers and SOD. Chicago people, I'll see you in a minute.

I'm leaving for Jamaica in a few hours. I'll be coming back on Monday the 12th, I think. See you later, Cali people.
Also, I'd like to go back to Chicago around September 17th, but I won't have anywhere to stay on or near campus until the dorms open to returning students on the 23rd. Does anyone want to let me crash in their apartment or something until then?

Anyway, everyone who went to MA pr0m better tell me about it cause its always so great (joke to anyone who was with me junior year) but yeah I always want to hear about it. yeah, I guess I'm ljing drunk again, I guess that makes twice.

1) Cause for celebration--I passed math. Final score: D+. I'm now done with math forever. 2) Last night, the auspicious and lovable Mr. Leblanc took Mike and me to Lawry's", which is effectively House Of Prime Rib but in Chicago. They each have a couple advantages over the other, but they would work out to about even if it wasn't for HOPR offering seconds and Lawry's failing to. 3. After a day in Belmont, which one might liken to SF's Haight, I found an album called A Chainsaw in the Cunt by the band Funeral Rape.

I forgot to say, my phone got fixed. My number is seven seven three five seven three eight eight eight four again. I might need your number again.
I'm back in Chicago, obviously. It's good to be back. Break was pretty good I guess, but I prefer college living and college-style vice. It was great to see everyone though.
This journal is pretty much just a log of my cellphone status.

Also, in my last thrilling entry I forgot to ask if anybody here has a fake, or some alcohol hook-up. Kimbark Liquors has made my alcohol procuration skills go soft.
